Happy Retirement
In March of 1998 I started working at the Holy Family Residence as a hairdresser. It turned out to be the best hairstylist job I have ever had! During the past 20 years I have had the opportunity to work with fantastic people and many wonderful volunteers. Many of whom I call friends! I look forward to volunteering in the near future.
I wish I could tell you how many Residents, both women and men, who came through the doors of the beauty shop. As many of you know, my own mother, Milly Seiberlich, frequented the beauty shop as well. She moved into Little Sisters of the Poor in July of 1999 and lived there for 11 years. I believe she lived to the age of 93 due to the loving care she received from the wonderful Sisters, staff and volunteers.
I want to thank the Little Sisters of the Poor for the honor and privilege of being a part of a great team of caregivers for all the elderly Residents. I am happy to say it truly has been a great 20 years!
