Prayer Buddies

Mary wrote: “I loved visiting the Residents and playing bingo with them.  They’re so sweet and cute.  Thank you very much for the goodie bag, Mother.  I very much hope that I can visit in the summer.”

Rebecca said:  “One of the Residents gave me fifteen cents and I put it in the collection by the St. Joseph statue.”

Armando said: “I got to meet my buddy Roger.  He shook my hand and we talked about baseball.  He said he could tell I would be a good ball player someday.  I want to go back with my friends and visit on my birthday.”

Molly said: “I got to take a walk with Mother and Hilde.  It was so fun.  Hilde said I was good at walking.”

Andrew said: “My buddy Jim was feeling kind of sick so I only got to meet him for a couple of minutes but before he left, he hugged me and said he loved me.  I want to go back and visit again.”

Elizabeth said:  “I finally got to meet my Resident buddy.  She didn’t speak English but we just smiled at each other and I got to give her a hug.  That was the best field trip EVER.”
