St. Paul may be at the opposite end of the Mississippi River from New Orleans the Mardi Gras capitol of the US, but that didn’t keep the party spirit from flowing upstream to Holy Family Residence!
Each floor prepared a “float” for our own in-house parade. Led off by native New Orleanian, Resident Helen Baker serenading the spectators with “When the Saints Go Marching In” the parade covered a wide variety of themes, Chinese New Year – Year of the Dragon, America the Beautiful, Artist Renown, and our own “Forever Stamp,” Resident Toni Bossard.
We capped off our Fat Tuesday celebration with a delicious “hot off the griddle” pancake supper.
