Everyone loves a parade. Our Mardi Gras parade was a big hit with all the Residents and staff.
Many of the different departments throughout the Home made a float or dressed up for the fun-filled event.
Residents and staff alike were dazzled as the radiant Marie Zech appeared, seated aboard her extravagant float, created by the Maintenance Department tickling those ol’ivories.
There was hand clapping and toe tapping all along the route as she played such tunes as When the Saints Go Marching In. Spotted among her entourage were the flamboyantly attired Sergeant Pepper, Carnac the Magnificent, Benchwarmer Bob and Captain Ken. Special recognition goes out to their production manager and candy passer-outer, Lee.
