On August 25, a Mass in celebration of the Golden Jubilee of Perpetual Vows for Sister Lucille was held in the Holy Family Chapel. Father Peter Laird, Vicar General, was the main celebrant and young voices from a local elementary school, St. Ambrose, provided the beautiful music. After Mass, Sr. Lucille greeted all Residents and staff and presented them with a jubilee souvenir. Friends and family then joined Sister for a luncheon in her honor. Sr. Lucille made her perpetual vows in La Tour, France in l960. She has faithfully served the Congregation, mainly as a begging Sister, in various homes, including Evansville, Mobile, New Orleans, Cincinnati and now, St. Paul. Sister is “most grateful for the call from God.”
