Before arriving at Little Sisters of the Poor in St. Paul I had no idea what to expect. All I knew about the Little Sisters of the Poor was what I was able to read on their website. I was a little nervous about spending the day with them for their Reflection Day on Consecrated Life, but that all changed when I arrived. From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted warmly and quickly was made to feel like I was right at home. The staff were smiling and friendly and the sisters were there to greet me with open arms. I started the evening meeting Sr. Maria Francis and Mother Theresa. Later in the evening I had a lovely conversation with Sr. Christina about her experiences. The next morning began with a brief conference and the sessions throughout the day and the stories shared by the Sisters really opened my eyes. I still don’t know where my journey will take me, but I know there are wonderful people with me during my adventure and that above all God is walking with me hand in hand.
Truly welcome at Day of Prayer
