Welcome Mother Theresa Louisa
On Monday, July 29, we welcomed Mother Theresa Louisa into our Home. The Sisters, Residents, AJJ members, staff and volunteers gathered at the front door to greet her as she arrived. Mother was presented with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Brother James Roszak gave a warm welcome on behalf of all those gathered. Mother then took the time to greet each person individually.
Tuesday began with Mass in the morning in honor of Mother, followed by a delicious lunch. In the afternoon everyone gathered in the auditorium to officially welcome Mother to Holy Family Residence where our favorite Minnesota goodies and facts were shared. We learned a fun fact: Mother Theresa Louisa has the wingspan of an Eagle!
The 2019 Senior Royalty Court from the St. Paul Winter Carnival knighted Mother Theresa Louisa as “Mother of the Bold North” and Mother Provincial as “Queen of the Province”!
To top it all off, we enjoyed root beer floats as Mother Theresa Louisa visited and presented a gift to the Residents, AJJ members, staff and volunteers.
The welcome celebrations delighted many and with the wingspan of an eagle Mother is sure to soar.
